If you've had a home party before, you will already know the basics. If not, this Hostess Guide will help you make the most of your party.
Your Home
Although it is common to want to make your home sparkling clean for your guests, remember that they are there for one reason....to attend your Spirit Party. They won't be looking in your refrigerator, or in the corners of your floors. They will be enjoying your company and your party. Spirit Parties aid in de-stressing and relaxation for your guests....and that goes for you too! Don't work yourself ragged. If your home feels comfortable, that is all that is needed!
Based on the number of guests you are inviting, think of the most appropriate seating arrangement. Don't worry if you don't have enough chairs. Just throw a few cushions on your floor and you not only have that extra seating, you also contribute to the casual atmosphere that Spirit Parties portrays.

If you feel the need to serve food, a couple of simple, easy to make 'finger' snacks are suggested. Again, the element of relaxation plays a part. There is no need for you to create a 10 plate buffet complete with 5 courses! Make it easy on yourself, and let your 'casual' snacks enhance the comfortable, relaxing atmosphere for your guests.
Your Spirit Parties Representative will bring with her a sample Spirit Parties Herbal Teas for your guests to try. Your Representative will appreciate it if you have your teapot and teacups ready for the party. If you do not have a teapot or teacups, please let your Representative know so that she can bring some with her. Feel free to serve other beverages if you wish. If you would like to serve alcoholic beverages, it is suggested that you serve wine as it is commonly associated with relaxation.
